Team: Worship

Purpose:  To create worship experiences that encourage all attendees to participate in meaningful worship services where everyone joyfully gives all praise and honor to our triune God.

The Worship leadership team works with the pastor and/or other committees to provide instruction for the membership in the meaning of Christian worship, in the use of materials for individual and common worship, and the mission of the church.

This team organizes and prepares for the distribution of the Sacraments of the Lord’s Supper and Holy Baptism. They coordinate all church music programs, including the choir, musical instruments and special services such as the Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Easter Sunrise, weddings, funerals, baptisms, etc.

The Worship leadership team prepares the sanctuary for worship services by hanging banners corresponding to the liturgical calendar, as well as overseeing the adequacy of all worship materials and supplies.

In 2008, the Worship ministry team is led by Brad Arnold.
