Team: Evangelism and Outreach

Purpose: To joyfully share the good news of the gracious love of God and call people to repentance, to personal faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, to active member­ship in the church, and to obedient service in the world.

The Evangelism and Outreach leadership team seeks to provide members with opportunities to share their faith in Christ in word and action. They implement programs of outreach to the unchurched of the community that facilitate knowledge and love of Jesus Christ.

This team encourages participation in the life and ministry of Third Presbyterian Church to all who visit and show a desire to become a part of the church. They develop orientation programs for prospective and new members to inform them of opportunities to become involved.

They equip and train all members to share their faith in Jesus Christ and to assist individual members to understand that their commitment to Christ is expressed in how they live, speak and act.

In 2008, the Evangelism and Outreach ministry team is led by Len Hull.
